Wild, original and touching
Name your favourite destination and why?
Camp Savuti was the best in terms of game viewing and because it was so deep in the bush. But we also loved Camp Magotho in the Khwai concession, because this camp was so lonesome, with no water or camp rangers – you are totally on your own! That’s were we had breakfast with elephants 😉
What was your best wildlife encounter?
We saw lions hunting buffalos! That was the most impressive thing, especially the breathtaking silence right before they attacked.
Would you recommend a self drive safari to others? What makes it special?
Yes, because you have a much more intense contact with the nature and you are totally free in what you do. And it is an adventure that you never forget – but you have to prepare yourself well – where to go, what to pack, how to drive 😉
Overall how were the camp site facilities?
All of them had a good standard in terms of ablutions and size of the single camping sites. All camp sites have been very clean
How was your experience working with SAFARI FRANK?
We had a really good exchange and contact during the planning phase. Johan and Frank listened very well to our wishes,questions and organized a trip that fitted perfectly to what we looked for.
