Best holiday EVER!
Name your favourite destination and why?
Ihaha. Our campsite was on the waters edge and the sunrises and sunsets were something I will never forget. Also saw a lion kill there.
What was your best wildlife encounter?
When four elephants walked right through our campsite in Khwai
Would you recommend taking a guide along on a self drive safari? If so, why?
Absolutely. The guides knowledge is amazing and he didn’t miss an opportunity to educate and entertain us!
You had an additional game viewing vehicle, was this beneficial and again would you recommend this to others considering a self drive safari?
A game viewing vehicle is essential. You sit a lot higher than a normal SUV and the fact that there are no doors and windows means that the bush comes right to you – the smells, the sounds and the fresh air.
How was your experience working with SAFARI FRANK?
So good that I would never go back again without their services. Safari Frank was the reason that we had such a great time.
Where is next on your Africa bucketlist?
Botswana again. We just love the country and their wildlife is the best in the world as far as I am concerned. We didn’t see the Kalahari Gemsbok Park this time or the salt pans. There is just so much to see in Botswana and it can’t all be done in a few weeks – you need to go over for a few months!
